This compelling film features the esteemed Dr. Nicola Mason and the University of Pennsylvania research team, highlighting their pioneering work—some of which is proudly supported by The Greyhound Health Initiative. Their research explores how osteosarcoma in pets can advance treatments for human patients, particularly children, diagnosed with the same devastating disease.

As part of the Emmy Award-winning Shelter Me series, The Cancer Pioneers brings together leading experts from world-renowned institutions, including the National Cancer Institute, the National Institutes of Health, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Illinois, the University of Wisconsin, and Colorado State University.
