Does Your Dog have what it takes to be a HERO?

Does Your Dog Have What It Takes to Be a Hero?
Every day, dogs across the country need lifesaving blood products—and your dog could be the hero who saves them. At the GHI Blood Bank, we’re searching for healthy, happy dogs who are ready to make a real difference. One donation can save up to four lives, and your dog could be part of that incredible impact.
Why Become a Canine Blood Donor?
Our donor families are true partners in saving lives, and we make sure their generosity is rewarded with exceptional care. When your dog joins our donor program, they receive:
- Free heartworm prevention
- Free flea & tick prevention
- Free annual lab work
- Free yearly physical exam
- Discounted veterinary care
- A whole lot of love and gratitude from the dogs they help
These benefits aren’t just perks—they’re our way of honoring the heroes who keep other pets alive.
Where Donations Happen
We offer convenient donation appointments at all three of our Central Ohio locations:
- Dublin
- Delaware
- Canal Winchester
Most dogs donate 4–6 times per year, typically on a Tuesday or Sunday, making it easy to fit lifesaving into your family’s routine.
Could Your Dog Be a Hero?
If your dog is friendly, healthy, and eager to help others, they may be the perfect fit for our donor program. Every donation is a gift of life—and your dog’s contribution could be the reason another family gets to bring their best friend home.
Join our community of lifesavers and find out if your dog has what it takes to be a hero.
