Update: Samples Needed for Corn Study

🐾 Update: Samples Needed for Our Corn Study

We’re making exciting progress in our ongoing research into corns in sighthounds, but we still need your help to gather vital samples. Every contribution brings us closer to understanding this painful condition and improving the lives of greyhounds and whippets everywhere.

📌 Who We’re Looking For

We are currently seeking samples from:

UK

  • Greyhounds or whippets aged 8 years or older with no history of corns
  • Greyhounds or whippets under 8 years old with multiple corns (two or more)

US

  • Greyhounds or whippets under 8 years old with multiple corns (two or more)

🌟 Why Your Participation Matters

Corns are a frustrating and often debilitating issue for sighthounds. By studying both dogs who are affected and those who are not, we can uncover genetic and environmental factors that may explain why some dogs develop corns while others remain corn-free. This knowledge is essential for developing better prevention and treatment strategies.

📨 How You Can Help

If your dog meets the criteria above and you’re based in the UK or US, we’d love to hear from you. Participating is simple, and your involvement could make a lasting difference for countless hounds in the future.
